Who we buy from
240 bags of high quality, pure Indian tea. Foil-packed for freshness and supplied in a reusable newspaper bag. Our Nilgiri Tea comes from the Just Change Tea Producer Company, a co-operative of producers and consumers in India building a community determined to globalize at the grassroots and 'Just Change' the world.' We, the Adivasis of Gudular in the Nilgiris, south India, reclaimed our stolen ancestral lands. To retain our land and escape poverty we planted tea. We supply this to the Parry Agro Tea factory who pay a good price for our leaf tea. To fight market forces and gain greater control we buy back the processed tea and sell it directly to consumers through Just Change'.
